The disk type is cloud specific and comes with different properties. Below is a table of what disk types are available in Bunnyshell for each cloud.
Disk | Type | IOPS |
SSD | SSD | 5000 for reads 3000 for writes |
Disk | Type | IOPS |
Last generation HDD (standard) | HDD | 40–200 |
SSD (gp2) | SSD | Depends on disk size 3x number of GB |
Premium SSD (io1) | SSD | User inputs the needed IOPS |
Disk | Type | IOPS |
HDD (Standard_LRS) | HDD | Up to 500 |
Premium SSD (Premium_LRS) | SSD | Depends on disk size |
Disk | Type | IOPS |
HDD (Standard_LRS) | HDD | Up to 500 |
Premium SSD (Premium_LRS) | SSD | Up to 2500 |
On Digital Ocean, the Root Disk Size depends on the Instance Size.
On Azure, the Disk Types that can be attached to an Instance depend on the Instance Size. Instances that support SSD Disks are marked as Supports SSD.
Adding disks is only available for Single Infrastructure Type Servers as normal disks cannot be attached to more than one Server.
To add a disk to a Server go to the Server view and click the Resources -> Disks tab. When you create a new disk, it will be attached to the Server.
Next you have to mount the disk. Follow the following guide:
All data from disks you are removing are lost.
To remove a disk from a Server go to the Server view and click the Resources -> Disks tab. Click on the right expand icon and click Remove.
To resize a disk from a Server go to the Server view and click the Resources -> Disks tab. Click on the right expand icon and click Resize.
Clouds do not support disk shrinkage, so only resizes with bigger disk sizes are supported.
Changing the disk type is not supported
