Alarms

Alerts depend on monitoring metrics. You can add alerts on all metrics available for your Server.

Adding an Alarm

You can add Alarms in two ways

  • From the Monitoring View. Go to your Server View and click on the Monitoring tab. Navigate to the chart where you want to add an alert on and click on the expand button to add an Alarm.

  • From the Alerts View. Go to your Server View and click on the Resources -> Alarms tab. Click Add Alarm.

condition, in order for it to be triggered.

It is recommended that you use more than 2

Alarm Enable

You can disable an alarm without removing

it so you can enable it later.

Editing an Alarm

You can change how an Alarm behaves by going to the Alarms view and clicking the Edit button from the expand icon associated with your Alarm.

Enabling/Disabling an Alarm

You can choose to disable an alarm without removing it in the idea that you will enable it at a later time. To do this from the Alarms view, click on the Enable checkbox and wait for a notification or from the Edit Alarm view.

Removing an Alarm

You can remove Alarms from the Alarms view by clicking on the Remove button from the expand icon associated with your Alarm. If you want to remove all alarms from your Server click the Delete all Alarms button from the Alarms view.

Default Alarms

When a Server is created, Bunnyshell adds default alarms to them based on the installed packages. If you remove those alarms at a later time, you can restore them by clicking the Add Default Alarms button from the Alarms View.

Note that when clicking the Default Alarms button, your existing alarms will not be removed. If you already have existing alarms using default metrics, the alarm rules will not be overwritten.

Receiving Email Notifications on Alarms

To receive alarms notifications go to the Alarms view by clicking on the Edit Notifications button from the expand icon associated with your Alarm.
